In 2012 I attended the European Chess Solving Championship in Kiev, Ukraine. I prefer to forget the flights going out and the flights combing back, where everything that could go wrong did go wrong. My sister Linda Turton accompanied me, as did my niece Emma Platt. While I struggled with the solving they explored the city and took all of these photographs, divided up here into sections of several photos each. Click on the section titles below to view them.
