In each solution the bK takes a two-step walk. After each step the square the king had previously occupied is occupied by a white Chinese piece. The first occupier becomes the rear-piece of an anti-battery mate and the second becomes the hurdle. The white LE and PA exchange roles and there is a diagonal-orthogonal echo in the play.
